FC Bayern | Report: FC Barcelona gives the first Lewandowski
FC Barcelona wants to rose Robert Lewandowski from FC Bayern. Now the Catalans have apparently made a first offer.
As "Bild am Sonntag" reports, FC Barcelona offers a transfer fee of over 32 million euros in a written offer.
However, FC Bayern should wish for around 40 million euros. At the request of the boulevard newspaper, the Munich team was not available for comment.
In the past few days, however, the Bayern bosses have made their position more than clear: Lewandowski should stay!
"Robert Lewandowski has a contract until 2023, and he will fulfill it," said CEO Oliver Kahn of the "Welt". At the same time, the 52-year-old contradicted the striker. Lewandowski had claimed that he had received "no offer" from the association.
"We made a specific offer to his consultant. Otherwise we wouldn't say that," Kahn countered.
FC Barcelona confirms interest in Lewandowski
Ultimately, FC Bayern will have to decide whether the world football player willing to change should remain at the Isar until the end of the contract in the summer of 2023.
After the last game of the season against VfL Wolfsburg, the Pole revealed that he wanted to leave the record champions after eight years.
"It was quite possible that it was my last game for FC Bayern. I can't say it 100 %, but it could be," said the 33-year-old at "Sky".
Meanwhile, FC Barcelona makes no secret of his interest in the center forward. Lewandowski is "one of the options," said head coach Xavi at a press conference on Saturday.
"There are currently negotiations," said the Barca coach. Lewandowski "had already said publicly that he wanted to go," said Xavi. However, a transfer to Spain is "not easy because it is Bayern Munich. But it is one of the options."
