Elf supports Ukraine with a virtual team

Ukraine War: Ukraine forces have some 'success' near Kyiv as Russian forces are pushed back The European League of Football (ELF) supports Ukraine after the Russian invasion of a special action.

As the organization announced, Ukraine Braves is received virtually as a 13th team to the league. Games will not deny the team, but all the football fans can buy a jersey of the "brave" by the Eleven Hompage and thus make a donation.

"The profit is transferred to the Fundraising account of the National Bank of Ukraine, from there all revenues are fed into humanitarian purposes in order to support the civilians affected by the war," said it in an eleven message. The jersey is in yellow and blue in the Ukrainian national colors and, as a reminder of Russian invasion of February 24, is the number 24.

Eleven managing director Zeljko Karajica said, "We are shocked that a war broke out in Europe. With the inclusion of Ukraine Braves in our league we express our solidarity." League Boss Patrick Esume hopes that in the future, a real team from Ukraine will play in the continental league. "The sooner, the better," said the 48-year-old.
