NBA: Lakers celebrate LeBron
NBA Superstar LeBron James gave the Los Angeles Lakers to return to his homeland with a strong performance of some air in the fight for the playoffs.
The 37-year-old scored 38 points at 131: 120 against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday evening (local time) and also came to eleven rebounds and twelve templates. By winning the team from his home Ohio, the Lakers climbed in the Western Conference ranked nine and past the New Orleans Pelicans, which lost 103: 106 at the Charlotte Hornets. The teams on the places seven to ten play the last two playoff tickets.
The best six teams of the Eastern and Western Conference are qualified directly for the playoffs. The competitive victory of Dallas Maverick's basketball international Maxi Kleber against the most recently successful Minnestoa Timberwolves was therefore enormous. Dallas defended by the 110: 108 rank five, the Timberwolves slipped from rank seven behind the Denver Nuggets.
Philly beats Miami, KD shines for Brooklyn
In the top game of the day, the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Miami Heat 113: 106. The Heat are at the top of the Eastern Conference, the 76ers are now equal to the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks. The Celtics had won their away game at the Oklahoma City Thunder 132: 123, Daniel Theeis contributed nine points. The Bucks were not active on Monday. The Chicago Bulls brought a 113: 99 against the Toronto Raptors and moved past the Cavaliers to rank five.
Led by Kevin Durant With its 37 points, the Brooklyn Nets brought an important 114: 106 against Utah Jazz and can continue to hope for a place among the top six.
The Houston Rockets, however, theoretically no longer have a chance on the playoff quality. The worst team of the league, however, won 115: 97 against Washington Wizards, national Dennis Schröder scored eight points and also had five templates and four rebounds.
