Team building: Salihamidzic explains Bavaria's Ibiza

There is nothing to get for FC Bayern in the current season - but the most recently emphasized on Säbener Straße that one of the last three league games would not want to gave way despite the established championship. On Saturday it was a clear 1: 3 in Mainz, which also caused coach Julian Nagelsmann to criticize. "If it looks like we have to stop any service and the passion is no longer there, we are at a point where we have to change something. And we're there."

But first the Bavarians have free. Nagelsmann had released his protégés on Sunday and Monday - and a large part of the team used it to travel to Ibiza. The association was informed about the trip, confirmed sports director Salihamidizic to the picture: "Last week, the players informed us that they would like to spend the two training -free days in the group on Ibiza. We accepted this as a team -building measure."

It is completely clear that our players will work fully.

The Bosnian also explained that the team "has been very concerned with themselves and their future path since it was leaving the Champions League" - and that FC Bayern considered this as "positive" as a club. In this context, the Ibiza trip should also be evaluated, since "a joint action by the team could be an important basis" in order to get new strength.

However, the journey offers explosiveness, precisely because Bayern could be the Zünglein on the scales in the relegation battle this weekend against VfB Stuttgart. Hertha coach Felix Magath had sent a clear message to Munich. Salihamidzic tried to clear out any doubts about the Bavarian attitude. "It is completely clear that our players will fully campaign against VfB Stuttgart on Sunday with the professionalism and football strength."
