World Cup playoffs: Time of play of Ukraine is fixed

FIFA has terminated after consultation with UEFA the still outstanding European playoff games for the 2022 World Cup.

The encounter between Scotland and Ukraine will take place on June 1, the winner plays four days later against Wales around the ticket for the tournament in Qatar (21 November to 18 December).

The playoff games could not take place due to the war in Ukraine as planned in March. The winner plays at the World Cup in Group B with England, Iran and the USA. Due to the resetting of the games some games had to be postponed by the Nations League launched in June.
