In Milan, he developed after a short accusing phase for the regular player - and also for the French international.

In September 2021 he debuted for the Equipe Tricolore. Four international matches has been completed by Theo Hernandez so far. He will probably no longer be approached to the international game brand of his current players Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Ibra ran 120 times for Sweden.
