Ralf Schumacher travels after attack from Saudi

"Sky" expert Ralf Schumacher is after the impact of a rocket near the Formula 1 racetrack of Jedda on the way back to Munich to comment on the Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia from there. "If we are on time, it should be flaps with FP3," wrote the former Formula 1 pilot on Saturday at Instagram overlooking the third free training at 15.00 pm German time.

As the Pay TV station confirmed, Schumacher and commentator Sascha Roos decided upon consultation with the editors to return to Munich. His other employees also set Sky free to stay in Saudi Arabia or restore.

Schumacher had already expressed himself very critical on Friday and pleaded after the attack on an oil plant of the Formula 1 main sponsor Aramco for a cancellation of the race. For the attack, the Hutthi rebels had taken responsibility to the Saudi Arabia in Yemen's war.

Grand Prix should take place as planned

Despite the explosions and a large cloud of smoke a few kilometers from the paddock, Formula 1 had initially held her second training on Friday. The formula 1 managers and the organizers had assured for urgent consultations, ensuring security for the further Grand Prix weekend. The program of Formula 1 can take place as planned, the Saudi Motorsport Company reaffirmed on Friday night. The drivers advocate local time to the situation until 2.30 am.
