Downing Street calls End of Abramovich

Since the recording of the Russian oligarch Abramovich on the sanctionist of the British government, the catches for the club owner of the FC Chelsea Premier Boris Johnson are a mandrel in the eye. Now a government spokesman has demanded the immediate end of the catches on the Stamford Bridge on Monday.

"It's time that it stops"

"It's time that it stops. We recognize the strong feelings of people for their club, but that excuses no behavior that is currently completely inappropriate," explained Johnson's speaker. "I think people can show their passion and support for their club without accessing such things."

Downing Street reacts to the repeated auditors for Abramovich since the announcement of sanctions against the oligarch and the club. At 3: 1 in Norwich and at the 1-0 against Newcastle, Abramovich calls always sounded again. Also a Russian flag with the inscription "The Roman Empire" ensures vertebrae.

The association is largely dependent on benevolence of government for a targeted sale and thus the security of its existence at a high level. Only with further loosening of the special license could be made a corresponding deal. According to Johnson's speakers, the club has not yet made a request for milder restrictions.

Already long-term sanctions

The sanctions for the blues are already far-reaching anyway: Chelsea may not make player transfers more for the time being, no tickets for games for sale and had to close all fan shops. In addition, the budget for outward travel was severely limited. At the weekend against Newcastle were only season ticket owners at the Stamford Bridge. The main sponsor has also left the club now.
